Every year the South Amboy veterans go to several cemeteries in the area to honor the military dead. They start at the gazebo on Bordentown Ave. and continue to Christ Church Cemetery and then to several others. Come out on Sunday, May 26th at 9:00 to observe this service and show our veterans that you care. Even if you go to just one of the services it would mean a lot. Show your support for those who served for us.

The city of South Amboy recently suffered a major infrastructure breakdown at the intersection of Main St.
South Amboy Ferry Update
The City of south Amboy is currently working to bring the ferry service back to town. The 800' roadway extension portion of the project was recently completed and the City is now working on environmental remediation for the portion of the site where we plan to build the parking lot. We have been working on approvals from the Federal Highway Administration and NJ DOT and upon approval we will be soliciting proposals and bids to complete this component of remediation. Deadly blasts during Boston Marathon
Today our flags in South Amboy will fly at half mast in memory of and in honor of the casualties suffered in Boston yesterday. Our hearts and prayers go out to the families who suffered from this cowardly attack. But as with other tragedies we've experienced we must resolve to unite and support one another and emerge stronger than before. May God continue to bless the United States of America.Mayor Fred A.
