AUDITIONS FOR "ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, JR."

WHO: The Hernandez Theatre Workshop (HTW), in collaboration with the City of South Amboy - Department of Recreation

WHAT: Auditions are being held for an August production of "Once On This Island, Jr." The Hernandez Theatre Workshop is looking for a diverse cast of energetic students ages 6-18 for all roles. Performers must be prepared to sing 16 bars of upbeat musical theatre or ballad style music showing vocal range. Performances will run August 6,7,8. "Once On This Island, Jr." is a Caribbean adaptation of the fairy tale "The Little Mermaid" with a presentational style reminiscent of story theatre and a catchy, Caribbean and Pop flavored score. (Information gathered from www.broadwayjr.com)
