The Sadie Pope Dowdell Library is pleased to inform you that our GRAND REOPENING will take place on Monday, June 22, 2020 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.! Initial contact-free Curbside Service will take place Monday through Friday from 12:30 to 4:30 pm. Library patrons can contact the library to make a reservation to pick up materials or request that the staff choose a variety of materials for their family. Up to five Dowdell Library items can be reserved; unfortunately, materials from other libraries are not available at this time. Contact us ahead of time to receive curbside (within your automobile trunk) or walk-up service (reserve materials will be placed on an outside table with the reserved name on it). Personal interaction with the staff is prohibited. Materials to be returned should be placed in the Book Drop.The staff will quarantine the materials for 72 hours and then sanitize them prior to re-shelving.
