Dear Dog/Cat Owner:

Your 2019 Dog and Cat licenses are to be purchased between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.  You may renew your license in person or by mail.  The licensing fees are as follows:

The fee for a dog license is eight dollars ($8.00) with proof of spay/neutering, and eleven dollars ($11.00) for non-spayed/non-neutered.  The fee for a cat license is six dollars and twenty cents ($6.20).  Please be advised that after May 1st, 2019, a two dollar and fifty cent ($2.50) late fee will be added to the fees mentioned.  

If you choose to renew by mail, please make your check payable to the City of South Amboy, 140 North Broadway, South Amboy, NJ 08879.

Remember, if your dog's or cat’s rabies is due to expire any time during 2019, you must first get a new rabies vaccination before buying the license.  (Remember we need to see the proof of rabies certificate.)  For your convenience, the city has scheduled Free Rabies Clinic for the following date:

Saturday, April 6, 2019
Independence Fire House-Broadway
Cats: 9:00 - 9:30 AM
Dogs: 9:30 – 12:00 P.M.
