Middlesex County and the Arts Institute of Middlesex County have partnered together to create the Mural Design Contest, a campaign asking residents to submit their designs for a new mural at Raritan Bay Waterfront Park in South Amboy.

The call for entries is open from February 15th – March 29th, 2023. A judging committee from the County will choose three top designs to go to a public vote from April 7th – April 13th.

The winning design will be painted by a professional muralist and we will host a public unveiling when the mural is finished. The purpose of this campaign is to engage with the community at large while supporting and celebrating the arts community in the County. The contest is open to residents of all ages and artistic abilities.

The winner will be announced on April 14th and the mural reveal will be May 2023.
