CONSTRUCTION NOTICE

JADS CONSTRUCTION CO. WILL BE REMOVING AND REPLACING TREES, CONCRETE SIDEWALK/CURBING, MILLING AND PAVING THE ROADWAY AND INSTALLING CONCRETE CROSSWALKS ON BROADWAY STARTING ON OR AFTER

APRIL 13, 2026

The project area includes Broadway from Augusta Street to the intersection with Bordentown A venue. The work will take several months to complete depending on weather and other factors.

During the removal and replacement of concrete sidewalk and curbing, there may be times when pedestrians will need to be diverted and directed around the work. Also, during milling and paving work there will be lane closures causing traffic to be alternated/diverted as the work progresses.

Every effort will be made to maintain access to your business and/or residence, but there may be brief times when access will be limited.

Parking will be limited and prohibited in the areas where work is ongoing.

PLEASE LOOK FOR NO PARKING SIGNS WHEN PARKING ON BROADWAY.

South Amboy City Police will be present during construction to direct traffic. All traffic is expected to strictly adhere to all posted signs and instructions.

We will make every effort to coordinate with you, but your anticipated patience and cooperation is greatly appreciated.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we will work with you to accommodate all situations. We thank you for your anticipated cooperation during this temporary inconvenience.
