Dear Property Owner or Tenant

You may pick up your BULK GARBAGE TAGS at the Department of Public Workslocated
behind the South Amboy YMCA - please follow the signs. Currently your
property is allowed (FOUR) 4 items per year to be picked up by the City at no cost
for each unit or apartment you have.

If you are ready to dispose of bulk garbage you may now call the
Public Works Dept. at 732-721-8100 and press #0 to schedule your
pickup. Please be advised you will be assigned a specific pickup date.
If you are required to leave a message please leave the following
information ... YOUR NAME & ADDRESS, TAG # AND THE BULK ITEMS
YOU NEED PICKED UP.

Please remember bulk garbage should be put out after 7pm the night
before pickup. Your items will go out to the curb on a Tuesday night
and the items will be picked up on Wednesday. Any bulk garbage put
out before this time or not on the pickup schedule will result in a
summons issued to the owner of the property.

All Bulk Garbage picked up by the City must be clearly labeled with the BULK
GARBAGE TAGS. If you have additional items beyond the (FOUR) 4 initial items
that you would like picked up you will be charged $25.00 per TAG for additional
paid BULK GARBAGE TAGS call 732-721-8100. Please keep in mind items of bulk
garbage may be dropped off at the Public Works Garage at no cost to the
property owner. This service is available on the 3rd Saturday of each month
between the hours of 7:00AM and 11:00AM. You will be required to show
proof of residency.
